I currently have a webber gas and kettle and enjoy both. thoughts on trading the kettle for a BGE?

Down to Large BGE vs. Large Primo... $200 price difference with Primo being more.

What would you use the BGE for that your kettle and gas grill can't perform?

That is my question...it would be a hobby, not a full blown grilling machine. Why I have stuck with my 90 buck kettle for years.

A Kamado grill sears better than just about anything out here for residential use. You can get it really damn hot.

It's above average at smoking, but there are better/easier smokers out there.

It cooks pizza really well due to the high heat.

It's definitely very versatile and fun.

Do it. Extremely versatile cooker that will last forever. You can grill, roast and smoke with one cooker.

Primo XL

12+ hours without worrying aboyt it. A literal, set it and forget it.

You only use as much fuel as you need. The rest can be saved for the next cook.

Durability. Nothing to rot or rust. It will last a lifetime.
