Yep. Reservations are a smart option, and I also get reservations for weekdays, too. The last two visits I made, they were hosting large parties. By calling ahead, I was able to time my arrival and service such that I didn't conflict with the crowd.

whenever i'm in monroe i try to hit:
- podnuhs (for the beans man..for the BEANS!)
- magic grill
- johnny's
- otis2's (try to make sure i beg one free meal anyway)

original owner, Mr. Hopper, bought podnuhs back and is trying to revive it...2 bbq west are no longer only 1 left
