Good Basic rib eye in BR

I'm on a low carb diet and trying to eat a lot of protein. Craving rib eye steaks. What are some BR restaurants that serve a basic no frills rib eye reasonably priced. Not wanting Ruth's, Fleming's etc

Kind of tough to answer. I always find the best steak is the one I make at home, outside of a place like Ruth's.
I would imagine most any restaurant has a steak on the menu. J. Alexander's could be an option? Just let your server know how you want it cooked and kitchen will accommodate I'm sure.

Sounds like you're looking for Doe's, but what do I know...

I rarely order steak out. I can make a great ribeye on my Kamado Joe in a flash. Add a salad and grilled asparagus and a quick low carb meal. I tend to order things I can't make at home at a restaurant.

Just out of curiosity why not cook one at home. Don't know how?
No grill?
To me if you aren't going to a high end steakhouse with great meat and the ability to sear at 1200 degrees or higher then it's not worth the money.
If you are on a low carb diet you will save a LOT of money grilling your own meats
Just food for thought

I'm single, lazy and never at home. Easier for me to go out

George's has a good basic ribeye.

Chilies , TGIF , or your neighborhood Applebee's.
Kidding of course

A steak made is twice as good as a steak ordered.

Outback is decent although they can be inconsistent.

Chimes actually has a pretty good ribeye that's like $20.

Doe's... but everything they serve with the steak (except the boring salad) is not going to be low carb.

How much is a Doe's steak? Haven't been there in ages

Doe's BR Menu
They are all priced per pound, and most cuts are 2+ pounds... my wife and I will usually split one when we go, no need to take down 2 pounds worth of ribeye plus sides by myself.
