You got up early and didn't even get burnt ends?

I had some last week and since I'm a nice guy I figured I would let the next guy get to try them.

Honestly I think Blue Oak is on par with this place. I got the brisket and ribs and they seemed just as good at blue oak

Blue Oak's BBQ has really come along way.

you should check out the wings at Applebee's
Not saying it's as good as central or bob but I think it's solid.

It was OK. But I can be at Blue Oak or CCBBQ in less than 5 minutes.
Honestly, I thought they used an oven until I drove around back and saw wood stacked up

Moe's on Calhoun had some solid smoked wings. Just needed a good Buffalo style sauce with them. Not a fan of BBQ sauce.

I have had LA 4-5 times, first time was OK, but since then I thought it was pretty good.
Don't think comparing it to Applebees is fair though.

when given the other options, somewhat.
They take pride in their bbq, but they are on the level with voodoo.

I am forced to go to Voodoo on occasion and don't agree with that. I am assuming you guys are dissing LA and gave it at least more than once before putting your nose up to it. If that's true than so be it.

Yes. Several times. Shop at the NAPA across the street and own a Jeep...I am there often.
Their brisket for reference. Virtually no ring, was tough.

That was my experience when they first opened but have gotten better product since. Got takeout the other day and thought i was pretty good.
Glad we finally can complain about BBQ restaurants because of better ones. Use to be The Joint and everything else was shite.

True. Who would have thought New Orleans would have better BBQ than Houston.

I had LA Smokehouse brisket a week or so ago and it was terrible. I ended up giving it to my dog.
