Very excited to say that it will be my first time going to Restaurant August tomorrow night for my birthday!

Looking for suggestions on what to order as far as food goes as well as wine or any other anecdotes. Also, feel free to add how much you wound up spending haha

Why don't you order what sounds appealing to you on the menu then report back with a review?

I definitely will report back. And most certainly will order what sounds good lol. But that doesn't mean that I can't ask what everyone else likes, right?

I Always get the tasting menu. It's always been fantastic and on several occasions has introduced me to something I didn't think I would like that I now do.

I go with the foie gras three way every time I'm there. In a strange way, I was thrilled that one of the ways is a "kuchen" (German for cake). When they described the dish the first time I realized I hadn't heard the word Kuchen in well over 30 years.

The staff as a whole absolutely kicks arse. Very attentive.

Unless you're going with shirley temples, expect to spend about a bill.

We went a month or two ago. Get the tasting menu with wine pairing. It was incredible.
