Went tonight. The Crawfish Pasta and Crawfish Arancini! So good. Also the Lasagna. Why is everything so good there?

I had heard Gino’s was going downhill, which was disappointing because I grew up loving that place. Glad to hear the rumors aren’t true!

It’s been years and I live here. I Just prefer the lively vibe at DiGuilio Bros. Geno’s is for the olds.

Really?!?! Noone is going say anything about the spelling?

Yes Gino's is one of my favorites in BTR and is my favorite Italian in the city.

I went there 2 months ago and was served by the rudest waiter I've ever had.

ETA: A lot of Gino's employees must post here.

I was at DiGuilio’s Monday, met a few friends there. They are good.

My sister and brother in Law flew in last night, had a table reserved in the bar area. When they fly into town, this is their first stop.

Gino and Pokie from Pocorellos are good friends. Last night, Pokie had just left. Those two are great guys.

Best restaurant in Baton Rouge.

Best old school red sauce Italian joint in the state bar none.

Your last name came up in a conversation yesterday. I was at a different restaurant for lunch, City Cafe. A girl had went to Broadmoore, your last name we brought up. Don’t worry, I covered for the family as always! Lol

Sorry, I know too many Gino’s and Geno’s. I think the Italians have a problem with spelling.

The one I have the most problems with, DiGuilio’s!

Just giving you a hard time.

I don’t live in BR and haven’t for 10 years so it’s been a really long time, but I had heard after Gino and Lawrence’s mother passed and was no longer in the kitchen things had started to slip.

Glad to hear that’s not the case.

We still call it the top in BTR. Use to love Giamancos on Government St. It too was first class!

I went for the first time in about 15 years and it's still the same consistency and you can't go wrong at a restaurant like that
