I don't believe you're ever going to see the light with those silly statements. I'm not sure why you feel so entitled or why you're so hell bent on patronizing a business that likely has no desire to cater to you or your children.

As long as you advertise as such, I don't have a problem with it. However, if you hide it, that's endagerment. Also, probably a shite ton of OSHA violations there.

quote:

what if i own a fast food joint with a kids playground and i put dangerous sharp metal objects all over the place? if you dont want your kids to get hurt dont come to my place.

It would classify as an attractive nuisance. OSHA violations out the arse. Such a playground would never get approved.

quote:

what if i own a brewery with beer made from human blood. if you dont want to ingest human blood, dont come to my brewery.

As long as it passes inspections to insure no contamination of blood-born pathogens, I don't see a problem with this as long as human blood as an ingredient is not kept a secret. If there is demand for such a product in the market, it will survive. If not, it won't.

these are extreme examples but my point is that being a business owner doesnt give you the right to run your business to whatever extreme you want. (most) laws exists for a reason.(

Exactly. The question becomes what laws are necessary? When do laws go to far? When are they inhibiting more than they are protecting people?

I love it when people try to think up extreme situations in these type of arguments

like I said earlier, I don't give a shite if a business owner kills you as soon as you walk in the door, as long as that "customer" knows exactly what he/she is walking into, that is the "customers" choice

as soon as you walk onto that property, you are consenting IMO

Keep trying, though.

"Trying" to explain logic to smokers rarely works.

What if you and your family were enjoying a nice meal, and I walked up to your table, turned around, and laid a big ol fot for you all to bask in. You'd be a little annoyed right? Sort of how non smokers feel when we are exposed to your crap. The person inconviencing others should always be the one who is inconvenienced.

As far as I'm concerned, you're the inconvenience in my place if you're unhappy with how I run my legal business.

Why would you bring your family to a bar for a meal ? That's trashy

So you would be for the government stepping in and outlawing farts in a place of business? Not just restaurants, but amy place of business?

I've never smoked a single cigarette in my life, but you're still wrong. Government shouldn't be controlling this kind of thing.

Eta: you're probably one of those guys who supports the government controlling the foundation of the keystone pipeline too.

Houma missed the memo on trolling this thread yesterday, so he is trying to make up for it today.

His statements are either really well worded trolls or just moronic ramblings. I'd like to believe troll, but with a name including Houma I keep jumping to moron.

The combo of cig smoke and a jukebox takes care of the fart issue.

Has the inhalation of farts been linked to increased morbidity? Link?

Cow farts have, so really it is just a matter of volume. All the noxious chemical, compounds are there.

btw, alcohol is a huge killer and we are handing it over the bar in these establishments.

All I really know about Houma I know through Swamp People... so unless it involves alligators or arm-wrestling, I've got nothing.
