In south Louisiana, It's really tempting to buy the $4.99/lb chinese crawfish tails for certain dishes. They dont taste as good but they are servicable

I like to buy local ($12-16/lb) for dishes like etouffee

North of Nashville here, but our Wal Mart carries US grown crawfish in packs like that. That’s where we get them from mostly.

My Walmart, here in NE Ohio, has the Riceland brand frozen crawfish tails, from LA. 12oz package, around $8.

Same in GA. It's good shite. From LA, not China. OP fricked up.

THis is what you want homey... it's carried in most Walmarts.

I keep two 12oz bags in the freezer at all times for an impromptu ettouffee.

Maybe you were just being cheap? Seems to be available in Franklin and some other Walmarts around Nashville.

Posts a look at me picture in a $12,000 watch and won’t spend $15 on some actual Louisiana crawfish tails. I would say it’s embarrassing but it’s a CAD thread so par for the course.

You really have to read the fine print on those Chinese crawfish tail packs. They will say stuff like packaged in Henderson, Louisiana, but in fine print will say from overseas somewhere. They are all called some kind of Cajun name too.
