How many times has anyone been to Jack in the Box and waited quite awhile? Pull around please.

Frikkin Chicken isn't Popeyes or McDonalds or Taco Bell. It is a locally owned fried chicken restaurant that happens to have a drive through. I would prefer to wait for freshly cooked, hot chicken than save a few minutes and get something that has been sitting under a heat lamp.

To much of society is in the fast lane. I find it's worth my time to smell the roses or the Frikkin Chicken. I'm not a sprinter and I will allow time for the finer things in life and yes, Frikkin Chicken is one of the finer things in life. So is a Parkway Bakery po boy and that takes 15 minutes or so. Slow down people and quit bitching. If you don't like to wait go eat at Taco Bell. Nobody will care. Anticipation is half of the meal.

I agree with this.

careful saying that around here. this makes you an a-hole or an idiot according to many on this board. expecting them to have food ready at a fast food place around dinner time! what an unreasonable request!

I disagree with this. I have been to Frikkin Chicken 2x and it was good both times but I don't care where you go, if you have a drive thru that is not a sit down establishment with a waiter, you are considered fast food. To wait 30 minutes for food is completely unnecessary. I am not one to say what is considered a "finer" thing in life, but to say that fast food locally owned fried chicken is one of them is kind of a stretch.

If you wait 30 minutes on fast food that is bad. Bottom line, no matter what the food guru's on here might claim.

30 min is a bit extreme. I guess someone has to be the one to get there right when they run out of chicken. But it should only take 15-20 to fry chicken not 30. They cant just have old chicken always available either.. Not a local place on a more firm budget. So they probably estimate how much chicken they will need. Maybe its time to up that a little and see if the profits stay the same. 15-20 min wait is ok if the chicken is fresh. 30 min overall is starting to waste the customers time since almost every sit down restaurant can have you meal by then.. Hell even a chicago pizza only takes 45 min made to order and that should take alot longer to cook than chicken.

I think because the owner posts here most feel they have to defend the shite out of the place

owner posting here just means that something said can actually help. Dont know why anyone would defend the place for that reason. I have never eaten there but know that I would rather fresh chicken than anything that has been sitting. I also know that its fairly common to have to wait 10-15 min at any fast food chicken place for your meal. Hell you may wait that everytime at Raising Cains and that is just tenders which take much less time than bone in chicken. Now 30 minutes I think is too long.

I don't care if the owner posts on here or not. I defend it because it is hard to find a "fast-food" style establishment that has good food. Frickin Chicken is at the top of that list.

Again, Martini with the save.

Fricken Chicken might not be Taco Bell/Popeyes quick. But then again they aren't a machine listed on the NYSE, they are a locally owned and operated chain that happens to be faster than any sit down place I've been to.

And that BBQ sauce is fricken awesome. I miss North Carolina!

Maybe I missed something but since when is Popeyes or KFC quick? I have never been in and out of there in less than 10 min even when the chicken was sitting 5 feet away from the employee.

Unplug your Dell and calm down for a while.

Better yet, go wait 30 minutes in the Fricken Chicken drive through until your blood pressure goes back down.

Because of the cost of food, Popeyes is now using the smaller breed of chicken known as bannies. Hence the smaller pieces.
