Holy crap what a mistake I made trying this place.

Waitress asks if I want fries with my half muffalata. Sure... thinking that at 13 dollars for a half muff it probably comes with them.. nope

Four fricking dollars and Fifty cents for completely seasonless and frozen bag fries.

So a half muff and really bad fries and a coke: 25 dollars after tip.

I mean, you were in a huge tourist area. You should expect tourist prices.

You should read the menu regardless of where you are.

You did not complain about the muff so I assume you were satisfied.

BTW, its not just the Qaurters, onion rings at the Galley are $10

Probably the most over priced place in all of Nola area. Lester will be mad that I posted this.

Have had central at least 50 times. My wife doesn't like it. Just tried something diff. Their 4.50 French fries I wouldn't have fed a starving dog.

I used to get Franks muffeletta often. Especially after Mama Rosa's went away. Never bought fries with it.

Tourist trap. Never would eat there. Don’t know how it’s famous!

If you want another good option for a good muffuletta in the quarter besides central grocery, Napoleon House makes a good one. It’s served toasted.
