I used to have a recipe that called for that. Can't recall what it is right now because I stopped making it once there was no garlic cheese roll.

There used to be a product called liquid brown sugar made by Domino. It was in my mother's nut butter crunch recipe. You can use regular brown sugar, but it's not the same.

There was a cookie when I was a kid that was yellow with light brown edges. Google says it was called a Brown Edge Wafer, but that's a dumb name! I

I rarely see these around anymore. I wonder why? Maybe because the name was changed?
