I think it would be impossible. I can see preferring one to the other. But hating one and loving the other is preposterous.

Yeah it's a pretty dumb thing to say. They're very similar.

Everybody on here just circle jerks the hell out of it, but there are much better double IPAs. Every Ghost I've ever had taste like armpit.

You play soccer?

It's a double standard with y'all. You guys get bent out of shape when we call Bud, Miller, Abita, etc shite so for the most part we don't say anything anymore but all y'all continue to crap on the craft beer.

Too funny.

what? I guess to each his own.

It's widely considered a world-class IIPA by craft beer authorities around the country.

When I was in Asheville I gave one to a bottle shop owner and he took the time to hunt me down in Louisiana craft beer groups just to tell me how much he loved it.

Ghost is no joke and not overhyped.

See, I think this is crazy. I've been very vocal on my dislike for IPAs in general. It actually pisses me off that so many are made. Still, I like trying new stuff. I really like Ghost. No pine-sol or old lady perfume whatsoever.

Please list them for me. Especially those easily available along the Gulf Coast.

The price of Ghost is absurdly marked up for the little 4 packs. Not worth it for that reason alone.

Spoken by someone that has no clue about the cost to make a DDH GITM. I have no problem with you not enjoying a IPA, but to make a arse statement is so obtuse.

You probably don't like the citra hop. It has a different sort of taste than the piney hops typical in a lot of ipas. I've had people that don't like citra describe citra to me as "funky" and "infected".

that's a hell of a taste descriptor!

I disagree it applies to GITM but I might break it out the next time my wife makes meatloaf...

Its people that aren't really beer knurds....more casual craft beer drinkers. So even though they may drink an ipa here or there, that citra hop is something they aren't used to.

Even if I agreed with you on that point (which I don’t, $11.99 is not bad for DIPA), that has NOTHING to do with there being many DIPAs that are much better, which is what I was asking dor a list of.

Tried for the first time tonight. Good but overrated. Tastes like grapefruit juice. I guess I would buy again.
