Glad you liked it. Maybe my parents got a weaker broth for some reason. It was the first thing they ate after the pita, so they weren't full yet. Huge serving.

Bumping ---

Finally got back for Dinner service

One word, excellent.

The only thing I got again that was the same was the Ikra.

This time we got Halloumi (best use of beets and plums ever in a dish) and the Tahini Hummus. She got the Wagyu steak and I the lamb. All was outstanding but the Wagyu was something I could eat everyday. Seemed like it melted in your mouth. We tried some cocktails and some wine. Spilt a Honey cake and a pitcher of moroccan tea, and then finished it all with a specialty halva Cappuccino.

We had a long drawn out meal and it was one of the best meals that I have had in a long time. Looking forward to eating here often.

The place is really excellent. Soon, we will be seeing SHAYA!!! on this board instead of PECHE!!!

Off Topic, did you see the washer/dryer thread on the OT last week calling your name?

Glad you enjoyed it. I can't believe it took you this long to get there. One of my faves.

I went a couple weeks ago and had the lamb. It was excellent. I'll be going back for another dinner in early August. I may have to try the steak.

I didn't there were a couple, I was out of town and didn't have great internet access on the lake.

I did answer two of them, but no washer/dryer.

Already planning my next meal. My mom wants to do Shaya, Peche, Emeril's and Domenica in one weekend when she is in town again.

The lamb was really really good, the Wagyu had me upset that I didn't order that though.

I didn't get a good picture of it. The table next to us got a meat dish and it was small (turned out to be a small plate) and we were taling about how small the portion was (but I guess it's normal for Wagyu) and then the steak came out. It does come sliced and in a garlicky sauce.

The yogurt with the lamb didn't work that great for me, but then I had it this morning on an everything bagel for breakfast and I enjoyed it.

The pita bread is out of this world, though it seems to be more pizza dough than pita dough (not complaining) I like that everytime you get bread, it's right out the oven.

Lives up to the hype and Accolades, like Peche and Cochon did before it.

You won't be disappointed.

Also for those that like after dinner coffee, the Halva Cappuccino is the best cappuccino I have ever had, easily.
The Morrocon tea, I don't have to order again unless I had a sore throat. It tasted of lemon, honey and mint. Perfect for a sore throat.

Had another great meal at Peche last month and a wonderful meal at Emeril's Easter weekend. I wrote a review here on that one. I've always enjoyed it. Ate at Domenica last month, too. The website said the menu was going to change after they reopened following July 4th weekend. I'm interested in seeing it. I still highly recommend the 20 buck lunch Mon - Sat at the Grill Room. Ate lunch there on a Saturday last month.

I bumped the thread on the OT, but it's probably gone to p2 or 3 by now.

Looks delicious. That hanger steak...
I want to try the avocado toast, I thought it was whitefish on top, crab sounds better.

It was smoked whitefish when I had it in the Spring. Maybe he's using crab while its in season.
