Amazes me how they had eight people in the kitchen, then just two servers. I kept looking back trying to see why all of them looked busy doing the work of 2-3 short order cooks. Then I saw why... No pre-prep. You order dumplings, and someone makes the dumpling then they fry or steam. You order ramen and every ingredient is cooked and made after you order.
The ramen noodles were near perfect. This beat out both ramens I tried in LA.
Though it was more at around $15 each here.
When you come in there is only one table and then three bar top seating areas. They had three seperate two person groups sharing the table while there. So its not a private place. Since everything is made to order the wait is long for dumplings and soup, but it's worth it. They don't have sweet tea, or tea sweetner, so that can be bad for tea drinkers. They also do not have liquor or beer. ($10 corkage fee)
For two to eat splitting an app, and drinking tea, it comes out to be about $40.
The flavors were amazing though and I want to try the Bacon Cheeseburger dumplings and the Wu Tang Quan chicken wings.
The guy next to me got the fish bowl. I really enjoyed my ramen, but after seeing that giant chunk of grilled fish in his ramen I grew envious. So that's on the menu for next time for me.

Place is amazing, and the menu is constantly changing. It’s good to get there early because like you said it’s small and a long wait. I highly recommend it to anyone in the city looking for something new or different (not many people down here have tried ramen).

Been going there probably once a week since they opened, before they even became a ramen shop. Love it.

Place is bomb
Ramen Y'all is also really, really good. I went last time I was in town and was very pleased.

They don't have a liquor license and charge that much for BYOB? That's shitty as frick.

I agree. I can understand if they were offering their own wine options but a corkage fee when they don’t even have a liquor license is ridiculous

This was my bowl from there about 6 months ago. It was brisket ramen and I see it is no longer on the menu. It was amazing. My next visit will have me trying the tonkatsu style.

I almost gave Kin a try last week. Next time give Noyima on Magazine a shot. I've had it twice in four days and it is delicious.
