Here we go...

Ingredients were: Pork tenderloin, Sriracha, Orange Marmalade, and pumpkin.

If you included a title for your dish, I mentioned that here as well.

Please vote for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Contestants will be awarded 3, 2 and 1 points respectively. Here are the final plates in order of submission:

BottomlandBrew

MeridianDog #1 - Pumpkin tempura pork stir fry with spicy orange pumpkin sauce and pumpkin rice

Rohan2Reed - Sriracha Brined Pork Loin w/ Pumpkin Polenta & Orange Marmalade Glaze

MeridianDog #2 - Orange glazed spicy pork tenderloin medallions with pumpkin and potato latkes and roasted brussel sprouts

btrtigerfan - Coq Cajun Pork (on a stick)

Degas - Pumpkin seed crusted pork tenderloin bites, ginger marmalade slaw, sriracha tonkatsu dipping sauce

htownjeep

Oenophile Brah

Honorable mention to Caplewood for pissing on the thread but not submitting anything.

1st: MD 2nd entry
2nd: Htownjeep
3rd: MD 1st entry

Keep in mind taste had nothing to do with my decision. I just felt these 3 chefs had the most complete looking final plates. Others had some single items that looked outstanding, O Brahs pork, R2R polenta, etc, but the final complete plates for the 3 I voted for where the best.

Both MD's dishes look like the pack a ton of flavor and are both well plated. If Degas had more color on his dish(the slaw), I would have given him a third place vote. Though extremely simple, btr's pork stick looks very flavorful.

He did a lot more than that. I don't think that one picture adquately sums up his dish.

and therein lies the problem, he didn't plate a dish with all four components in it, which is a huge part of the challenge.

I think contestants should be able to vote, just not for themselves.
