We toured the White House then
We spend 4 days in and out of the Smithsonian, two days at the Bluejacket Brewpub, And the Washington Nationals baseball game for the 4th of July!
Saw the fireworks behind the Washington Monument in front of the Lincoln Memorial by the National Mall!

My wife's friend will be going there tomorrow and wants to surprise her with some beer when she gets back. I don't want to send her down any dead ends, so I'd appreciate any help in suggesting to her where to go and what to look for. Fruited sour or juicy hops. Any tips?

Not sure if Conroe is in the cards, but B52 is putting out both styles at a pretty high quality.
A lot of local breweries are taking their turn with the juicy IPA style, but not many are available at stores or readily available at the breweries even.

RVATiger, I super pumped about the release of Nectar and Knife this Friday. It was the first beer that I tried at TC, and it was love at first taste. I am expecting the worst though, as their limit is super high at 2 cases per person, and it is the day before the Veil Anniversary Celebration event.

Whole Foods on Post Oak has a few frites Berliner Wisses (haven't tried) and the new Hop Explorer X is dope. Could grab some crowlers. What part of town?
