i forgot how much i enjoyed it.
just ran by hops and habanas and grabbed some yazoo hop project #72 (i think it was ru that tried it recently and liked it) along with some tallgrass ethos ipa. looking forward to a great weekend. my wife and daughter are headed to n.o. so it will be me and my big man. going to smoke one of those pork loins wrapped in bacon and stuffed w/ jalapeños and cream cheese that someone on this board posted about during easter.

honestly, the kicker for me was the price. memphis in may was $90 for all 3 days and a hotel cost me $65 total for all three nights.
hangout costs WAY more than that.
i went to hangout 2 years ago and had a blast, the price to enjoyment ratio wasnt high enough for me this year.

exactly. it really really sucked to miss the 2nd weekend of jazz fest though. but i always wanted to go to memphis in may so i did. good times.
