It’s been a delight having an additional income hit my bank account.
But in all seriousness, it’s nice. She puts up with my shite and is shooting from the hip as much as I am right now. Hence our home in Denver but we’re in Natchitoches/Shreveport for 3 months for work, and we’re moving back to the greater Austin area in June/July. I anticipate it to slow down one of these days.
If we find a weekend to make it south of Alexandria we will be in touch.

I hadn’t either, so thought I might try. It wasn’t great. The guy taking care of the bar area was slow and seemed to be coddling people who likely weren’t going to tip anyway (I overheard them complaining about everything).
Also weird that they don’t sell an oyster plate or an oyster poboy. But you can get a combo platter that has a couple oysters thrown on it. Maybe they only buy oysters for shucking and don’t buy the gallons of them?
