FBD: last glass of Bojoulais Nouveaux (or whatever)
SBD: Rogue Dead Guy

Not really keen on the wine. Its been awhile since ive had dead guy and, while it is a good beer, its not really my thing. This was leftovers from a BBQ. Ill probably never buy one myself.

I have one from time to time-usually when I'm at a place with a limited selection- and I agree.

FBD is a Pretty Things Jack D'Or saison. Very good beer.

Nice. Ill have to look out for it. Does it have that grassy yeasty flavor of some saisons? I dont like that and dont want to waste a good beer someone else may enjoy.

Still working on te deadguy bomber, dicing onions, slicing squash an getting ready to watch the usa vs brazil game.

Ru is probably too into the stanley cup to be posting (but prob 4 beers deep already)

It is certainly bready/yeasty and has some clove, banana, citrus. I am not picking up any grassiness yet. It may not be your style.

Lilllet blanc over crushed ice and an ultra thin slice of lemon.

Might add a splash of Perrier for my second go-round.

FBD is Stone IPA

I think this beer is truly a gold standard for IPAs

blasphemous remarks toward wine are allowed in here. We accept wine purists also. All are welcome.

Just being a fanboy. Don't mind me.
When does a black lager become a stout?
This one seems richer than I remember this year.

Absolutely.

This Pretty Things saison is really good. As it warms, I am picking up some earthy herbal notes (I don't get any grass though) and it has a nice hoppy finish.

I checked out their website and some reviews and I knew I had to try it! I did not buy any of the other 2 beers (with the dates) but I may next time. I did pick up another Galaxy White IPA and a couple of Hop Burn Lo.

I have not had any more of it since the event at B's. It was one of the best beers there I thought. Not as good as the Pliny you brought, but in my top 3 or 4 that night.
