FBD was a Terrapin Mosaic IPA - OK, the red malts overshadow the Mosaic hops. But it's still a good beer.

SBD was a SweetWater Happy Ending. Roasty stout and the hops are very evident too. Very nice.

Both at Chimes.

I enjoy it too. Gets a lot of flack. If it were labeled a BIPA it would be liked more imo.

Today is my off Friday, so I should have had a beer by now, but decided to come into the office a few hours.

Having a small bachelor "party" weekend for my buddy whose getting chained up in a couple weeks. So, there will be beer consumption soon.

Tomorrow, we hop on the Texas Beer Bus for a 5 hour tour. Hitting up Yellow Rose Distillery, Buffalo Bayou and 8th Wonder.

FBD won't be until later. Does anyone know if the Hop Stoopid at Calandros is decently fresh or not? Couldn't find a date on the bottle.

No beer for me since Monday. After SF Beer Week and a visit from friend from SoCal I needed to dry out a bit! Not sure how long it will last, but I'm sure not too much longer.

Good to see a more civil discourse today. I read parts of yesterday's thread and it was like I was on the Politard Board

Me too. Fortunately, I'm watching it on my phone. Work blocks all streaming audio/video, but at least I can do this.

Think it's from early January. Look for the black digits on the neck of the bottle. First 3 digits represents the day according to the Julian calendar, and the 4th digit is the year. So, if it says 006 5, it means January 6th, 2015.
