Yall think I need to flip ribs that are on the smoker in a rack so they are propped up on their sides? The primo is on cruise control at 240 and I hate to mess it up.

A lot of people do it like that. Ive had success laying them flat.

Let it roll. If you're holding a good steady temperature why mess with it?

I didn't have enough room to lay them flat. Got two racks of beef ribs and rack of baby backs. I typically lay them flat as well. Just not sure if they will cook evenly of I don't flip them at some point.

Yeah I don't flip
My only problem using rib racks that stand up is that I seem to lose bark whenever I take them off. I've got a couple slabs going right now but kept them flat because I had room

I'm arguably still in the Primo Noob stage, in fact I've been tinkering with the temps this morning too much, but if you've been at a steady temp. I'd let them roll and trust the Primo.
Or open to spritz and eyeball if they look uneven? With both D-Plates in, I assume all the heat should be relatively even throughout the dome.

Thanks, gents. Not flipping.
FBD is just aight. Not their best effort on their fruited shake releases.
