wish I had planned ahead for you making a haul from Alabama, I would have picked up some Ballast Point to trade for something
I have quite a supply left if you have any extras. When are you coming into town? I'm leaving on vacation Sunday though.

passing through BR friday night on way to MS, though we are usually 10 or so before we can get there. If we cut out of here earlier and get to BR at a reasonable time, I'll let you know
I still have Big Eye IPA, Yellowtail Pale Ale and Calico Amber

I will be enjoying (unfortunately, my last bottle) one of these
I tried that last week for the first and only time. It was amazing. No FBD yet--still at work.

The Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch was solid. I did enjoy the breakfast better though.

SBD is a Moylan's Hopsickle Imperial Ale

How is the Moylan's line of beer? A friend brought me this Giants world series celebration beer by them but haven't drank it. It's been in fridge since Haloween.

We don't see the entire line here, but I've had the Hopsickle and the regular DIPA and a scotch style ale I think called Kiltlifter. These were good and the Hopsickle is really good IMO.

was that north carolina beer any good?
Posted on 5/23/12 at 8:27 pm to rutiger
FBD was a St Arnold's Endeavour.
Honestly I'm not a big fan. I'm not huge on IPA's in the first place, but this particular one had a void at like 45 degrees that just tasted awful. 35-40 degrees, nice and hoppy. 50 degrees, smooth and warm finish with a citrus punch. 45 degrees, paint thinner.
