No. I know he used it in the first batch of Opus. Not sure about subsequent ones.

I think you've told me that there is a hop he doesn't like.

If any of you guys are ever thinking of going to the Oregon Brewer's Fest, here is a good article on this year's festival. They list some of the best (and worst) beers at the festival. I didn't make it this year, but I went the previous 2 years, and it's top notch. I think Zap said this is the festival that turned him onto craft beer.

No. I'm not sure they have a TV, there, and if they do, they probably wouldn't change the channel for you.

If you want to watch the game, The Beermongers right across the street would be a good spot. Only 8 taps, but they have a great bottle selection and they more user friendly than Apex Bar. No food there, but there are about 1/2 dozen food places within 50 yards that you can get food and bring it in.

The Blitz Ladd is right around the corner from there, and they will have a lot of TV's.

Fathead's would be a good place to watch the game.

Never been to Henry's Tavern, but it's supposed to be pretty good.

From the Apex Bar website:

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you fill growlers?
A: No.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept.
A: Cash only, please pay as you go. We have an ATM.

Q: Can I bring my well behaved pet/minor to the beer garden?
A: No.

Q: Can I buy a glass you have?
A: Thanks for asking, depends on the glass, but for the most part, yes.

Q: When will you have the item of APEX clothing I want back in stock?
A: Follow us on Twitter and you’ll hear the announcement, or look at the shelf when you come in.

Q: Are bottles available to go?
A: Yes, over 250 different kinds.

Q: Can I make a reservation?
A: No.

Q: What kind of food do you serve?
A: None. You’re welcome to bring whatever food you’d like to enjoy with your beer.

Q: Will you show the college or major league football, baseball or basketball game I’m interested in?
A: No.

I picked up a 4-pack today dated 10/28/16 and one is my 4BD. I agree that this is a good batch. The malt is way down from previous batches.
