Absolutely. I would look into a leave in digital probe — could be as cheap as a dot from Thermoworks or a wireless Maverick. I picked up a knock off brand from amazon recently and it’s the same as the Mav but for a third of the price.

That's the prettiest salmon I caught this fall, in terms of the color of the meat. Was a nice surprise when I cut into it.
