Glad you like it!
F+BD was my first cold and carbed taste of my latest Homebrew NEIPA, a neomexicanus trinity, while we watched LSU pull off an awesome win against the Volunteers! Sabro, Medusa, and Zappa in equal parts with the Voss Kveik Norwegian yeast strain.
Intense aroma of mango, peach, and pineapple. Light floral characters from, I believe, the Medusa. The Voss has a tendency towards citrus when fermented at 85°+, but I fermented around 70° and it’s got general fruit esters with hints of orange, and I suspect some floral character of its own. In general, though, it’s a great New England. Clocking in at 6%, I’d put it against Holy Roller, Envie, Voodoo, and Jucifer. Excited to have some of you baws try it!
Also brewing another surprise brew today remaking one of my first original recipes I brought to LarryFest last year: a Hefe-NEIPA.
I have so many NE hops and spare yeasts, I figured I needed to give it another go.

S+BD is my Beet+Ginger Belgian Brett Saison. It’s bright, crisp, and refreshing, but I’m nagged by the fact that I’m pretty sure there’s some diacetyl in it. It’s got a hint of that sort of buttery flavor mixed in to the aftertaste of the beer. I think I’m going to address this by juicing some more ginger and adding it straight to the keg.
It is refreshing, though. Brett character is mild and pleasant. I’m just haunted by this fricking diacetyl...

NBD is the new hotness. I have a Will Wade level crush on this beer right now.

You must ETP.
2BD is another Nova before heading to the Box.

FBDs were an uncountable amount of EH Buckle Bunnies watching the Tigers W. Needed some to manage the nerves, and some to celebrate the W.
Back home with great weather, frisbee dog, and tunes is an Orange Show. Solid weekend.

Overlapping basketball and baseball season is great. A close second to football season. Especially when we’re playing like this.

FBD was a Paradise Park at the McNeese basketball game.
2Bd was a Thanks a Latte at Crying Eagle
3BD is a Hazy IPA version 2.0 at Crying Eagle. This is a damn good beer. Ive been critical of them in the past but this is great. If they continue to improve like this I will be really excited.
