I wouldn't be there long either if I had 4 beers already. HA.

Excited about this!! I am on top of it this year and will hopefully drink all 12 and get my glass. I only wish 21A wasn't so far away from my usual haunts. Granted its right off of my main transit line or I could walk the 1.2 miles, but it would be better if all the beers were offered at both locations...at least for me.

The BRU/SFO Project returns. The month of November is a special time of year, the weather changes, stews and rich dishes make their way to the table and the SF Giants come off another World Series win, you know typical Fall stuff. It is also the season when two great San Francisco breweries bring you the BRU/SFO Project. Our good friends at Magnolia Gastropub and Brewery and the 21st Amendment come together and craft 12 unique Belgian-style beers, six at each brewery. The BRU/SFO Project is named for the airport codes for Brussels and San Francisco and takes you over to Europe and back again as you enjoy these Bay area interpretations of Belgian beers.

The 21st Amendment beer release schedule for BRU/SFO Project:

Novemeber 1st: Via - Belgian Single, Drunken Monk - Strong Dark Abbey, Gnome Noir - Oaked Belgian Stout

Novemeber 5th: Leuven Life - Belgian Pale Ale

November 12th: Baby Horse - Belgian Quad

November 19th: Double Tripel - Belgo-American IPA

Magnolia's beer release schedule for BRU/SFO Project:

Novemeber 1st: Saison de Lily - Saison Ale, Chocolate George - Belgian Stout w/cocoa nibs, Deep Ellem Dubbel - Abbey-style Dubbel

Novemeber 5th: Gris-Gris - Grisette

November 12th: Sunburst - Belgo-American IPA

November 19th: Tweezer Tripel - Abbey-style Tripel

When you collect all 12 beers you receive a commemorative event glass. Come on in and enjoy this incredible adventure.
Thanks for your support.

That will be good for you! Let me know if your friends have any questions once they get to town.

Ha. I walk more than most in America...I was mostly being sarcastic. Regarding biking, I don't bike in this city. I like my life. That and I wouldn't want to be mistaken for a hipster on a fixie.

My friends have been biking all over. My gf was out there this past weekend and said biking is easier there than in Dallas. They have a corporate apt in North Beach while they look for a house.....probably in Mill Valley. They have a teenage son and the move is pretty traumatic for him. He liked Mill Valley so.....

I'm assuming that's the Magnolia Pub on Haight Street? Love that place-- and they make a GREAT burger!

FBD: Thirsty Dog Pumpkin Ale

Disappointingly, this is all ate up with the meh. My main complaint is there is way too much of a ginger zest for me that throws it off... Pretty boring mouthfeel. Ah well...

Yep. My favorite SF Brewery. And yes they make a great burger. I ate there the night of my most recent birthday.
