Got these in today from a guy I am trustee for for Crooked Stave. Having a bcbs now. That'll be it cuz I am gettin up early to go snowboarding in the morning.

Rouge gave me Pro-Am (tasty) and Buried Hatchet (so-so). Oddly, Southern Star distributes to Illinois and I've randomly had a couple of their other beers over the last couple of years in Chicago (nothing notable). Do you recommend them?

I think SS Pine Belt Ale and Buried Hatchet Stout are good and the Pro-Am is very good. The rest of the lineup is just OK in my opinion. The Pro-Am is the only only one I want in my rotation.

Stopped drinking for a bit, got some food in my belly and sobered up to drive home (it's crazy how fast the high abv% alcohols add up ).. time to finish off the night with more beer.
