First beer of the day is an Avery Uncle Jacobs Stout bottled June 2013. This will be my only beer of the night as it is coming in at 16.53% ABV and it is Tuesday. It is a tough life that I live.

Really good, rye spice/pepper is there. Will be interesting to see how it does over time. Has an aftertaste of whiskey that lingers.
Had last years in bourbon barrels twice in the last month. It was smoother and sweeter than this. Not sure if that is the bourbon or age though.

That's crazy. Every place in Nashville I've seen is less than $10. The store down the street from me is $7.99. Hard to not pick up one or two when I'm in there. Such a good beer.

Where have you seen it for trade? I've never even heard of it. A buddy grabbed one recently and recommended it. Kind of pricey, but good. The maple makes it a little sweeter than I like, but very smooth
