How is it? I hammered the 8/26 batch and absolutely loved it.

FBD was an 8/26 Commotion. That beer is holding its own coming up on 2 months from canning. Commotion may very well be my favorite addition to the BR market this year.

Ohhhh. Do want. Love Lowerline, love apricots.

No beer for me. Night 3 or 4 of going without. The sleep I've gotten is unmatched. I don't know if I'll go back to weeknight beers.

At first take, it seemed less floral and bright but further research is necessary. I agree the 8/26 batch was straight up delicious.

I agree. I am anxious to try the new batch. You have the contact info for any of the local FBD krewe?

2BD is another Hop Rising. Pickings were thin at Matherne's this afternoon.

NBD 8/26 Commotion

The 10/5 batch tastes fresh, yet I shan't deny the strength of the nose and flavor superiority of the 8/26 batch. I welcome the thoughts of the krewe but dig 8/26 over 10/5 at this juncture.

FBD is a Suzy smash.... I plowed through the four pack, I think I'd buy it again.

That's crazy it was just sitting there. It was nice of them to age it for you though.

Kim, I agree. I drink a lot of Commotion and the 8/26 batch was the best I've had. It just had more citrus and brightness than other batches, including the 2 newer ones.
