I'm only agreeing because I know you have access to some damn good beer. But I'm gonna continue emptying the fridge. And I still don't care for Live, even as an unabashed Southern Tier fan.

I applaud your opinionism. I dislike plenty of beers others find virtue in........It still disturbs me to end a sentence in a preposition......when I'm sober I can fix it..........shite......

Neither of us did that, so I think we're good.

My cast iron is about to come out of the oven. Gotta care for those sweethearts. Love them. Cook, rub down, retreat. I don't frick with my cookware. Also about to grab another beer because why not?

Stop putting them in the dishwasher and you wouldn't have to reseason them so often.

this beer is great. I went through my basement cellar yesterday and discovered I have 8 cases of crooked stave down there so I have a lot of CS beers to drink

Could be. Regardless, after every cooking I put a little salt, little water, rub them down with a soft cloth, dry, oil, and then oven. What I've always done. Am I fricking up? I'd welcome suggestions. That being said,

NBD (I think it's 14 but frick it)

You don't need the oven. I use coarse sea salt to clean. If it is a tough nut, I will boil a little water in the pan or pot for a couple minutes, empty water and scrub and it always comes clean. Wipe with a light coat of oil and your good. I only use the oven it I am doing a complete re season or new pan seasoning.

Virtually the same method. Minus the fact that I apply the oven. I've always heard that it reseals the seasoning. But my grandmaw could be wrong. It could be a superfluous step.
