For more 1 off beers that won't be bottled/canned at the brewery. LA Cumbre alone makes it useful and my friendly lady at Beer Creek will likely fill it for barrel aged brews. For high abv brews it's nice not having to drink 32-64 oz of heavy or high abv before it goes flat.
