I hope that hurricane is sucking all of the clouds up into the Carolinas for you...

How did y'all make out?
We're fine. The brunt of the storm passed 50 miles north of us. We got a lot of rain on Tuesday before the storm made landfall, but not much while it was crossing the state. Wednesday and Thursday were cloudy and windy.
My screened in porch made it through like a champ. A lot of people were concerned about the large "picture window" the screened enclosures have these days (a relatively new thing) and how they would hold up, but it was fine. There were a number of small trees down in the neighborhood - mainly landscaping from brand new houses that had not taken root, yet.
Here's a pic from my porch this morning. You can see a lot of dirt in the screen because the last two days had a lot of wind and not much rain.

Still not drinking yet. Gonna hold off until the holidays, I think. A buddy of mine posted some pics of Culmination Brewing, which he is a part owner of. The tap list is what I miss about Oregon. An amazing variety.
Brings back many fond memories. I remember going there with a couple of FBDers who shall remain nameless and... nah, what goes on in Portland stays in Portland...

Ran over to Beaumont today to hit 1701 Barbecue (excellent brisket) and now a beer tour.
Started at Struggle Street and had their Blueberry Fluff sour that was great.
2BD Houston Hazier
3BD their Birthday cake stout
4BD Just a Little Pale (pictured)
Solid brewery and the owner was friendly and helpful. On to the next.

FBD. You can always tell The Great American Beer Festival is around the corner when Parish floods the Denver market! Scored a 4 pack this morning

FBD Deschutes Fresh Haze IPA , I like. Brother got some good news, car likely a total loss and some other stuff fricked, but the water stopped about two inches short of flooding his place. Dad not so lucky. Structure intact but davit failed and boat may be totaled plus he flooded.
