They created the mold, why would they break it?

Guess thats what we call success these days. Now if they were making abita-esque beers i could understand your argument, but they dont.

I'll throw Lil Sumpin Sumpin in the mix too. Just personal opinion.

FBD with dinner.

Hey guys.

I was wondering if anyone had a 2012 Grand Reserve stored away I could get off of them? Cash or for trade.

Let me see what I have stashed away. Being away from LA I'm not sure how many I was able to get.

Anyone have a 2014 Parabola? I might be able to get a Black Butte XXVI and could augment with some other west coast swill.

I find it incredibly ironic that our lone poster in the bay area may be the person to help me get a beer that's brewed in my back yard.

You're just being argumentative for the sake of it. We're not discussing success. You know as well as I do that Lagunitas is middle of the road, you just don't want to take the unpopular position. If forced to choose a single brewery (the original remark) for the rest of your life Lagunitas wouldn't even crack your top 10 and you know it.

This next part isn't directed specifically at you..

I get it, some of y'all resent what I drink on here. Y'all call them whales while I call them what's available locally. If y'all were here you would be unapologetically be drinking the same shite. Scarcity and hard to find doesn't mean squat to me. I'm the guy who scored Dark Lord a 3.5 and thinks that may be generous. Also the same guy that told the head brewmaster at CCB to throw Don Gavino and Gentlemens Club back In the tank and add Lacto then re-bottle it under the name Barrel Aged Dumpster Fire. I call it like I see it. I like drinking new beers, it's not a contest it's the way I roll.

Far from malty.. It's a hop bomb. It's a very solid DIPA

Especially ironic if you were to trade him the 2014 Parabola for it...

That would be like me sending you a Ghost in the Machine and you sending me back a Sticky Hands...

Did the sample of Honey Badger, Mologna, and Fish Camp (along with 2 I've drank) 2 big ones are what I picked out to drink. Not drinking like an idiot today (technically Jon Boat was GF's but she quit drinking it)
