Don’t age coffee beers. The coffee will fade too much.

Okay, is red beer a thing now? I need some recommendations. Preferably something available in Shreveport.

Those are just heavily fruited beers.

You can get some of the GR sours, like the blackberry YMEWK in a few weeks.

Or look for the Grimm Pop series.

Moving on to Vodker and Polar Half & Half. Don't judge me on the diet variant.

Here's the dinner pic. Turned out pretty good.

Aging coffee beers is fine, depending on the beer. I drank a 2013 BCBCS recently and it was wonderful. Yes, the coffee will fade some, but it doesn't go away by any means.

Regarding Rêve, I think it would taste fine with less than a year of age on it, but it won't be as good as fresh. Odds are that they will produce new batch before football season.

Thanks for all the aging feedback.

Also it could be recency bias but I’m thinking this is their best Reve batch yet as well.

Yes, it will still taste OK but it will probably lose the great fresh coffee smell and taste. This batch is so good. Heading to the fridge for one...
