Canebrake pairs so well with boiled seafood. If parish didnt plan it; it is a great unintended result.
I won't say I am recovering from the weekend, but I am not on my A game. Tomorrow is my Friday, so I will have to step it up.

Same here. I'm typically good for one midweek night and the rest of the damage is done on the weekend.
I try to keep most of my beer drinking confined to Thursday through Saturday

Me too. My regular work week will not allow mass consumption on week nights, which is why I try to abide by the 2 beer guideline during the week. But there are just so many great beers to try.

OK I lied, 3BD SN Ruthless Rye. I only wanted to drink two but I'm watching the replay of the baseball game I missed yesterday because I was driving.

No surprise there. What was it like? Are they hoping girls will like it?
They better or it will be a bust.

Don't know why I keep getting my hopes up with Abita. Every time they come out with something new, I'm disappointed. But then they won't bottle or can their good beers like Oyster Stout.

onlyBD.. not so much. second up:
Really nice roasted flavor in this one. Pretty soft/creamy texture too. Says its brewed with licorice but I'm not picking any of that up. Tastes like malty toasted walnuts.
