Pretty sure the stickered cans are from mid August--anything older will look like the original can

That is what I am thinking, but there were some conflicting reports the last couple of days.

I did some recon on this a few weeks ago -- the re-vamp came in late May, this was posted on their instagram:



And first post of the re-tool on BA May 26th:

Assuming 4 months for "best buy" date, 12/xx/16 should be August batches, you just have to be sure you check the year . I had 12/8/16 with old cans, from CBD Rouses in NOLA, with the new recipe

We are wondering whether the can style changed at the same time or if they are using a mix of old/new cans with the new recipe. In other words, is the new recipe only in the new cans?

I don't believe so... I bought some over a month ago that was the old can but the new recipe.

8 b d / Scofflaw Brewing Basement IPA



Newest brewery in Atlanta. Very Tropicalia-ish, what with the sweet caramel backed up by some funk. Solid beer. A lot better than their pale ale which is rather pedestrian.
