I think have yours too. I'll send you an email tomorrow from the office. I'd love to try one of those Black IPAs.

2BD is a So Pro IPA. This one has lost the great hoppy nose and is starting to be more about the malt. Still enjoyable though.

Welcome to Houston, one of the most confusing beer markets around. Beers you think will last for weeks, sell out in days. Beers you think will sell out in a day, last for a couple weeks.

ETA - I just hope we get to be like CA and Oregon to where the beer market is so over saturated that we have beers like Sucaba just sit on the shelf.

Is it just a seasonal release? I guess at some point SoPro will show up in BR?

I'd like to try one really fresh. I like it, but it is not on the level of Timber Beast IMO. I like Timber Beast more than many on here though.

It is part of their Cicada series, assuming like the insect it means only a limited time.

Yea I'm usually trying someone else's when it comes to these types of releases. This last year in Shreveport I was getting pizza boxes to go with all the st. Arnold bishops barrels tucked inside. Something I know isn't possible back here at home. Tried for some more Prairie Noir but they're out... Yet have so much Sucaba... Also got he 411 on the next Kbs release

Eta, I see founders breakfast stout on shelves here regularly now

It all sold out in Dallas in 24 hours. But most of the craft beer bars here have it on draught.

Wait, there is a stout version of the beer this weekend? Thought it was great as a porter and didnt have too thin of a taste, like some porters. As a stout it sounds even better.

Sorry, just the porter. I had been drinking.

I plan on being there April 11. I haven't received confirmation from Ham yet. If he's not in I need to find a place to stay.
