Debating walking to Rouses to buy a king cake. Just want one piece though and theirs isnt nearly good enough to justify an entire box. I've only had like 4 pieces the entire MG season. Decisions...
Don't do it. Rouses king cakes are rather pedestrian. Wait until tomorrow or Wednesday and revel in the delayed gratification. I personally think Antoine's in Gretna makes the best king cakes in the Nola metropolitan area. But there's many places to get your fix that'll be better than an impulsive Rouse's buy.

Had a little of the following:
Boneyard Hop-a-Wheelie IPA
Barley Brown's Pallet Jack IPA
Crux Half Hitch IPA
Fat Head's Head Hunter IPA
Fort George Cavatica Stout
Then passed the growlers on to Milo.
Next was a Brett chamomile lavender from rds.
Finishing up with a homebrewed coffee vanilla porter.

mediocre leftover Mexican from Juan's instead. :smh:
Only thing i ever get there is the redfish tacos or the green chile chicken quesadillas. Most of the menu is redundant blandness.

NBD-my buddy brought me over a 6er of this today because I watched his kid for a few hours. If this is how he pays me I'm not watching his kid again. Session beers suck. I'm a grown arse man, give me my 7%.

You people and the session hate. Damn

isn't that the bmc zone? I'm not drinking to give me something to do, I've got hobbies. I'm trying to get drunk and this isn't gonna get the job done. Now if it was in can so I could take it fishing or floating...but it is not so it serves no purpose.

Love me some Barley Browns. Very fortunate to be able to drink their stuff on the regular. That and Boneyard. Unfortunately, neither one of them bottle or can their stuff.
