Did they weigh more than 50 lbs?

I get hit with a $125 heavy bag fee coming home from CO.

We always choose to ship back instead of pack, usually cost more, but I have a extreme distrust of baggage crews that they earned.

ETA: Although I know many that check baggage filled with beers all the time and haven't had any problems. I'm sure you stuff will be in good hands and make it safe.
