Nice selfie, Balls...

FBD - Buoy IPA at the airport.

Forgot to post this yesterday from from deep in the bowels of a local brewery.

Yesterday I gave my kids their favorite Birthday present ever. I gave them bday cake and pizza money and then left them at home by themselves all day while I took my wife down the coast. They invited their friends over and played video games all day.

FBsD- Fire Station 5 red ale, Skylab Imperial IPA, and the hoppy Pilsner after run club. The lager was a freebee as it kicked before a full pour.

Happy Seis de Mayo!

Straight El Dorado. Pineapple/lime/tropical fruit with a mouthfeel that, while smooth and robust, isn’t overly creamy. I love that Trillium can work these flavors out of their hops without adjuncts; not to say that they don’t use them occasionally, but (as of now), you’re not going to see an IPA brewed with cereal milk, fruity pebbles, and kool-aid.

Normally I don’t blow through this many DDH in a day, but sounds like they’ll be more readily accessible in the immediate future so, why not?

Have you gotten your hands on The Streets yet? It goes down way too easy for a Triple IPA

Nah. I'll give it a shot if it's on at the Garden, but it's not really my style. Glad they used the new yeast, though. That Permutation yeast is absolutely fiyah. I bet it did good things for that beer.

Did you go to the Garden last year? I should be there a bit this year. Let me know if you head that way.

Oh yeah, big fan of the garden. Was glad to read last week that it’s coming back starting in May. I doubt The Streets will be on tap there though.

Went out to Canton yesterday and enjoyed the new patio.

Permutation has been an amazing series. #34 might be my favorite.

Let’s defintely grab a beer at The Garden sometime.

How often you get out that way? Maybe we can enjoy a pour or two sometime.

More often than I should, according to my wife.

Would be happy to meet you for a pint sometime. Hit me up.

REINHEITSGEBOT

...as there is literally an empty Abraxas in my pic. Supposedly girlfriend is gonna cut it down and make a candle. Anyway, no right way to brew. Do you. Maybe managing the hop schedules and timing to mimic the desired flavors has more “skill” or “technique,” but at the end of the day, what tastes good? I’ve had some bomb arse beers from The Answer that are literally just beer he didn’t make sitting on fruit. Good is good.
