FBD - coffee beer

FBD urban south's latest IPA release from last weekend.
Wow this beer is really nice. My personal opinion here, anyone who attempts to add coffee to a hoppy beer is someone trying to win a losing battle. But this beer is damn good. The coffee flavors and hoppy flavors are very distinct. It's like a 50/50 battle in your mind what you want to taste.

I'm a fan of coffee ipas done right. Would you recommend that one for someone who has more of an east coast palette?

Yeah it's definitely an east coast IPA as are almost all of US IPAs.

The base of this beer is Holy Roller. I do not normally like IPA coffee beers, in fact dislike them. This one is pretty good. There is more coffee on the nose than mouth. When you are drinking it the coffee is there but subtle.

That's a fine looking beverage. I'll need to try that one.

3BD canned on 8/30.. this is tasting as good as ever. 8% ABV without the slightest hint of any booze.

FBD from San Diego is an Alesmith Tony Gwynn .394 IPA with a 3 Taco combo at Puesto (carnitas, shredded chicken, and crispy brisket).

3rd day of Asheville, went to Biltmore, explored the estate, and had some wine. Good stuff

FBD - pFriem calls this one, "Dank IPA". This is the opposite of a NE juice bomb.
