Did Barcelona this summer....along with Lisbon and Porto and Amsterdam. Had never been to Portugal or Spain and loved both. Food was great in Portugal and Barcelona....craft beer was new in Portugal but there was some decent stuff. Barcelona is known as one of the top Euro craft beer cities.

It is kind of bizarre. I still think the Catalans are just making a point. But Barcelona is great....I would consider living there.....we also went to Cadaques on the costa brava to visit Dali's house.....that area was amazing beautiful.

Seville and Granada were better than Barcelona in my opinion. I’m not a big city guy, maybe that’s why.
