I didn't like Devil's Backbone much though, it had a distinct smoke flavor imo, and I'm not big on smoked beer

But what happens if you crack it and think "damn, I wish I would have enjoyed this earlier"? That would be tragic.

I was planning on aging mine until the FBD Jamboree.

That would be a good one to bring. Not many people have tried it. I got 2 bottles and shared one at a small FBD tasting.

I'd have to consult with my social worker to properly comprehend the draconian array of emotions under which I would no doubt be submerged. We don't always tread without risk.

I prefer to think of it as an overabundance of gusto.

fAre y'all getting the southern tier in BR regularly, or is it the chosen few who got some?

I got mine from one of the chosen via the BXN! Can't wait to try it.

TBD

First time having it. I like it.

Yeah, but you can learn how to noodle from the bottles.

Actually brought a few of those to my redneck coworker who noodles on the reg. He was pretty jacked.

FBD- Karbach Barn Barner

Pretty good, I'm not a huge Saison fan but I like this, glad I picked up a couple to try.

Meh, never bought it again. Not big on farmhouses/Saisons/sours so maybe I'm not the best one to form an opinion.

Some of the coworkers noodling trophies...

Yes, good beer. Coater sent the BR FBD group a few. Super smooth, silky mouthfeel that I really liked.

Just made an order for a few from
a friend in Oklahoma. Not tons to choose from, but he is willing to do what it takes to make a good box.

Maybe I had a bad one or something, I don't know. You're not the first person to tell my I'm crazy for saying that. I didn't care for it.
