While we're on the topic of beer prices, my favorite beer there was Wicked Weed Milk and Cookies stout, which was $6 a bottle from the brewery. $66 for a 12 pack!

FBD I had higher hopes for this one. It is a bit one-note, with strong bitterness through the middle and finish.

Yeah, me and a friend were close to splitting a 12 pack but it was the first brewery we went to and didn't want to blow our load all at one place. I wanted to buy a couple bottles by the end of the trip anyway but we never made it back there before leaving town.

NBD - Cultivating Mass. One of the best BBA Porter's I've had. Definitely a Porter. Thin in the mouth, but it is so easy drinking and the bourbon flavor is very upfront without being too hot. Breakside needs to do this every year.
