They use to make those spike things you put in the ground that were supposed to deter them -- I assume you tried those? I believe they were a trap of some sort.
We never really had an issue with moles, more armadillos. But generally we would just wait until about 11 pm when the dogs would start barking and go out with a spotlight and a shotgun

I tried the mole pellet poisons you put in the tunnels and the little spring spike things that are supposed to kill them. I put hoses in the tunnels and tried to drown them.

That's what I said!
Haven't had the bourbon or tequila barrel aged variants. Didn't they do that one with both? The cabernet is just loaded with depth and flavor. I also love Prairie Wine Barrel Noir, which makes me suspect I just enjoy that style.

It's a real life Caddyshack in this neighborhood. The tunnels in the front are insane right now. Also, I don't allow mole-killing tactics. I'd rather kill their food source (bugs). I can't stomach killing the moles
As for the weather, we have been discussing re-mulching for 4 weeks now (if you count this coming weekend) and can't because of the rain. Might just have to do it between showers Sunday.

You are more generous than I. Best austin IPA is Thirsty Planet Bucket Head but they don't bottle. Not sure why as they have been around for 5 or 6 years.

I would rather kill the moles than kill the food source which would seemingly affect more than just the moles. Regardless, I have given up and have accepted that the little m'fers will just have their way.

They do rum, tequila and chard barrel variations of their International Space saison. Laika is just cab and bourbon as of last year according to their site. Good things going on at Straight to Ale
