Favorite Sunday Brunch in New Orleans

Admittedly, I'm not a big brunch fan and I've got someone coming in from out of town so I'm looking for an epic (jazz...doesn't have to be though) Sunday brunch. I'm eyeing up Palace Cafe or Court of Two Sisters, both of which I've been to.
Where else should I consider and why?

Commander's Palace. Arnaud's if you want to be in the French Quarter.

Mr. B’s jazz brunch is awesome.

Please don't go to The Court of Two Sisters.

Based on your description, I would also suggest Commander's. Commander's has brunch on Saturday and Sunday if that matters. Sometimes, it's difficult to get reservations on short notice, so plan ahead.
I also enjoy Arnaud's jazz brunch, but I've mostly been to it on Easter Sunday which is extremely festive. The entire menu was offered which I also liked. Last June, I took someone to a jazz brunch who was attending that sort of thing for the first time. I didn't realize that only the brunch menu was offered. There were some dishes I wanted her to try, but they were not offered. It also wasn't nearly as festive as it wasn't full. The crowd was pretty light as a matter of fact. It's not bad by any means. It was disappointing compared to my previous experiences.

Among the ones mentioned, an addition, Palace cafe.

Thanks guys. I should have mentioned this is Easter Sunday. I checked Mr. B's and there was nothing on open table. Commander's isn't on open table. In the mean time, I secured a reservation at Palace Cafe just to be safe.

Oh, we might be there too, 1pm.

Easter Sunday at Arnaud's is terrific if you want to consider it. I usually try to get a table in the jazz bistro section close to the windows on the Bourbon Street side. Lots of activity to watch and the Chris Owens Easter parade goes by if you're eating at that time. Then, you can walk over to Decatur and catch the parade again live. We've done that several times. Made for a fun day.
ETA: Don't rely on Open Table. Many restaurants do not include all of their availabilities on OT. I call if I don't see something there. In fact, I don't use it much anymore.

Favorite? Brennan's, for sentimental reasons.
Commander's is my #1 favorite overall restaurant, though. I had a bad experience at Arnaud's.

quote:I have been to Easter Sunday brunch in the French Quarter many times after mass at St Louis Cathedral. The Quarter is very festive that day. There are at least a couple of small parades passing by. Arnaud's and Antoine's have special menus and require reservations in advance. Plus there is always Galatoire's which happens to be my favorite. As I said above, Commander's is by far my favorite brunch, but the Quarter is fun on Easter Sunday.

It’s a little touristy, but Stanley is pretty good if you don’t mind the quarter.

Try the Rib Room in the Omni Orleans.
