A good piece of buttered toast
A cup of hot white rice with butter, salt and pepper
A can of King Oscar double layer sardines in oil on a saltine. (Preferably on a tailgate, under a pecan tree cool fall day with birds flying.
Grape nuts and Skim Milk
Soft scrambled eggs
A bowl of soup. Any soup.
A piece of white bread with a slice of American cheese couple of tomato slices and under the broiler until the fake cheese turns black. I could eat a loaf of these.

I like a good pineapple sandwich. White bread. Slice of pineapple and some Dukes mayo. My granddaughters love it.

They also love....

I combined the two. Fritos for a side. I took the crumbs from the bottom of the bag and sprinkled them on my sandwich. Sweet, sour, salty and mayo umami. I'll definitely make it again.

This was a staple in our household in the 70’s for a Saturday afternoon lunch. I have one about every 3-4 months for ole time’s sake. Slap on a little mayo and that’s it.

Agreed on the fried bologna sandwich. Never seen anyone slice it like that though. I just roll with it curling up.
