For you king cake aficionados, get one shipped to you from Lilah's in Shreveport. I know, I know. For most of y'all anything north of Ville Platte isn't worth eating. I've had cakes from all over the state and I'd put theirs up against any others.

Lilah's kick cakes are as good as they get.

I always get a Manny randazzos shipped up to me for the Superbowl.

Superbowl falls on groundhog day this year.

The king cake may make an appearance in my annual groundhog meatloaf thread.

Someone brought to work a praline flavored king cake from Sugar love in Slidell. It was pretty phenomenal

Anyone know of a King Cake that is light on the icing and isn't "dry"?

Just get a "traditional". This is how my great grandmother made them for us

The cardboard the cake comes on tastes better than the cake. I seriously think it’s just frozen cinnamon biscuit dough with colored sugar poured on top.
