Been to Asheville a few time, but this will be a first with a couple kids. Age 11 and 13
I’ve been to Admiral and a few breweries.
This time around I’m looking for some family friendly Recs.
Also looking at staying at grove park inn or downtown area. It’s just gonna be a 36 hour trip
Thanks

Can't go wrong with Tupelo Honey (southern food) or Buxton Hall (whole hog bbq).

Everything in Asheville is kid friendly. Those people wag their kids everywhere. Including breweries and bars.

The admiral was incredible when i went.

I hear Curate is very good, couldn't get in when we went. High Five coffee bar has some good coffee. Tupelo Honey has a good little breakfast but their coffee is basically hot flavored water. You can see your spoon in the bottom of the cup.
Posano was a good restaurant, but it felt like my wife and I were the youngest people by about 20 years in that place.
Storm Rhum Bar & Bistro wasn't terrible.
French Broad Chocolate Factory was really good.

The biltmore would be cool for kids. Stable Cafe is a good kid friendly place. Biltmore Bistro had a good steak. Not sure if that would be good for kids.

I like Mayfel's, Mamacita's, The Local Joint, and Rocky's.

Sliding Rock is fun. The water is COLD... even in summer.
