Damn. Falling Rock is the place that kinda got me started on craft beer. It was the first bar that I went to that actually had craft beer selection (this was right after college in the early 2000s).

Sad day indeed.

Was there not too long ago and the taplist was below average. Was a great place to grab a couple before a Rockies game though.

He probably knew he was closing soon so he stopped ordering new beers and was just emptying the cellar..

That place was ground zero for many a beer shares and parties during GABF.

It was the place to go for rare beers before the proliferation of breweries. I think now the trend is to just go to the brewery itself. RIP Falling Rock.
